Returns/Refund policy

'For Farriers By Farriers' facilitates the sales of items for 3rd Party suppliers on our platform, we are not responsible for the liability of returned, faulty or goods that don't meet expectations other than our own products. If an item is faulty or you would like to exchange/return then we encourage you to read the policies below and we will aid you as best we can in being successful with your claim. Providing you adhere to the guidelines set out by the suppliers your claim will be successful. We are not able to refund your item until we receive a credit note for the item in question so there may be a delay should you request a refund. Its the manufacturers discretion and we have no say in this matter.

All suppliers (including ourselves) expect a returned item/items for exchange/refund to be submitted within 30 days and in re-sellable condition (unused and in original packaging). If these terms are broken you will not receive a refund/exchange and the goods will be returned to you.

Hole-maker Technology

 The company may in its discretion accept or reject the cancellation of any order before it’s been dispatched by the company but for the avoidance of doubt, the company shall not accept any cancellation where the goods and/or equipment have been personalised to the customers specifications or requirements.

 In the event that the company does accept the cancellation of an order, the company will refund any sums paid by the customer for goods and/or equipment not provided but the company reserves the right to deduct from that refund (or, if the customer has not made an advance payment, charge the customer) reasonable compensation for the net costs the company will incur as a result of the customer ending the contract.

 Your statutory rights are not affected by our Returns Policy. To the extent that any provision in our Returns Policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights will prevail and the particular offending provision in our Returns Policy will be deemed inapplicable.

If you are unhappy with your item, please let us know. Our Returns Policy gives you 30 days to return or exchange an item bought online with a valid receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging and returned with any accessories, labels and “free gifts” or bonus items.

To complete your refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, please send us an email at sales@stromsholm.co.uk and post your item to:

To return your product, please mail your product to: Stromsholm Limited, Wood Court, Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall, Milton Keynes MK6 1NE with your details and reason for returning.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

9.     Our Returns Policy 

9.1.   We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us and we have created this policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. 

9.2.   This policy shall apply to all of our customers, irrespective of their geographical location.

9.3.   This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or the           Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). 

9.4.   If you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us and receive a refund in accordance with this policy if:

9.4.1.we receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of dispatch of the product to you;

9.4.2.the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

9.4.3.you comply with the procedure set out in this policy in relation to the return of the product; and 

9.4.4.none of the exclusions set out in this policy apply.

9.5.   In order to take advantage of your rights under this policy, you must contact us to obtain a return authorisation number, and then send the product to us with a covering note quoting that number.

9.6.   Products returned under this policy must be sent by Royal Mail Signed For delivery to Richard Ash Horseshoes, Witherleigh Farm, Mill Road, Barton St David, Somerset, TA11 6DF.

9.7.   You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.

9.8.   The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

9.8.1.any product made to your specification;

9.8.2.any product made to order;

9.8.3.any product personalised or adapted for you; or

9.8.4.gift vouchers.

9.9.   We will give you a refund for the price you paid for the product/(s) to us in respect of any product properly returned by you in accordance with this policy.

9.10.We will not refund to you the original delivery charges relating to the returned product.

9.11.We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

9.12.We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days following the day we receive your returned product.

9.13.If you return a product in contravention of this policy, and you do not have any other legal right to a refund or exchange in respect of that product:

9.13.1.  we will not refund the purchase price or exchange the product;

9.13.2.  we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and

9.13.3.  if we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of   the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.

10.   Distance contracts: cancellation right

10.1. This Section 10 applies if and only if you offer to contract with us, or contract with us, as a consumer - that is, as an individual acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession.

Returning goods

We are happy to exchange or refund any unused item that you are not entirely happy with when you return it to us within 14 days of receipt.

Items which are returned to us must be unused, in a saleable condition and have its original packaging intact.  Please also ensure that all component parts, instructions are included with the item as well as a copy of the original invoice as proof of purchase.

Goods of a type not normally held in stock, and therefore specially ordered, are normally non-returnable. However please contact a member of the team who will contact the manufacturer for you, and we may be able to accept the item back with a small handling charge which will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

All returns are to be sent to us at the customers own expense and within 14 days of notifying us. We recommend that customers get a proof of posting or to return the item by a tracked courier.

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
