This unique design combination not only reduces leverage and shock while increasing a horse’s comfort but has the unique advantage of a heart bar or 3/4 sole plate to which a removable hospital plate is attached. 

Clogs are easily applied with the base shoe being attached to the hoof with two screws and a hoof cast tape. The hospital Plate leverage reduction component is then simple added to the base with two screws

Research has shown that the combination of wooden shoe and foot cast reduces the principle strain on the dorsal hoof wall and could be an important aid to reducing laminar distortion
