Rolling spider egg bar shoe
The roller motion spider plate reduces torque and shear force during unrollement thus restricting supernation of the limb. The spider plate transfers central compressive weight bearing force onto the rim of the shoe and increasing the tensile force around the hoof.
Can be used to apply frog support to help establish normal physiology.

The so called spider plate shoes are essentially stabilizers are useful in treating weak heels, sheared heels, weak feet prone to prolapse of the solar arch and frog. They generally provide support to the back of the hoof capsule by transferring compressive force from weight bearing to the outer rim of the shoe thus converting it into tensile force.
